Build a dungeon your rival has to survive, then walk into theirs and hope you read it right.
Lairs is a two player duel in two halves. First you lay out a lair behind your screen, full of dead ends, traps and monsters, with the treasure tucked where you think nobody will look. Then you both go in with a pencil and a map pad, deducing the layout square by square, fighting what you run into and deciding how much risk a chest is worth.
Around 40 minutes, two players, age 10 and up. This printing includes the Box Zero bonus content, which adds two more monsters and two more traps to both lairs.
